The Year(s) of the Puffed Sleeves

She loved this dress when I made it for her...about 7 or 8 years ago. A lovely pattern. Made triangular insets in the skirt of contrasting fabric. Made my own piping. Covered the buttons myself. We drug it out of a box.
Pictured are the results of squeezing my teenage daughter into her favorite dress. I still think she is gorgeous...even with that wonky look on her face!
